Extra long fill adaptor for Daystate

I assume that your fill whip will be 1/8 NPT. Check that that is the case. The supplied connector will be 1/8 BSPP. So you will need a female to female fitting with those threads at opposite ends. If you don't mind going back to Joe, he should be able to help you if you have deep pockets.

Or you could do it with a double female threaded connector like stated above but once again thread pitch is important on both sides.

Ideally you would want the Female version of what you have. But maybe Joe doesn’t sell them?

You could also use a female quick adapter. I think PA has everything you need on their site.

Phil, I just bought a female Quick connector for the new long connector and plug that into my old short conector. the only female / female connector I could find made of steel not brass was very expensive and this was the easiest way out! Works fine!! Hope this helps, J.L.

Don't have to worry about thread types then.

What I did was unscrew the short one that came from joe and screw on the one supplied by Daystate. Done, no issues no additional parts needed. Best of luck.

Here is a warning to those using these long fill probe connectors. It appears the slide action of the sleeve is quite rough on many of these. Add that to a slightly large diameter o rings they come with and when used, the sleeve may not allow the full seating of the locking balls in the locking groove. this result will cause the probe and whip to explosively release while filling. This can result in serious injury, unnecessary pain and a destroyed o ring. This condition is quite hard to detect, so great care is in order. I am not certain who the manufacturer is, but the ones I have seen are all the same regardless of who sold them. I got mine from DonnyFL.
