Extending My Indoor Range

I can only shoot at just under 20 yards in my basement and BR competition indoors is at 25 yards. I wanted to practice at the same distance I compete at. I thought about building a small extension onto the house (the addiction has no limits!), but decided that was a bit much. So, I came up with this idea. Works great. The target trap (box filled with rubber mulch) is in the box on the pedestal along with a light. The extension cord from the light goes through the tube. Now I can shoot at 25 yards "indoors". Here's a few pics. Last one is looking from the bench out through the tube.

Showed Ms Tammy your range addition after laughing, she said "Oh That's Great", wow, 2 years off airguning with others and she still seems as "airgun dependent" as some might think you appear. 2 airgunners in the House and only 7 airguns between us but now you ( yup your fault friend) and the fact I'm posting already has Her saying , winters when we should shoot.

Should be a fair environment for evaluating barrels. Any thermal draft in there?

Thanks ( ya sure ) for sharing the pics.

John, I'm sure there will be some kind of weirdness inside that tube, or at the place where it meets the cellar. Especially in winter when the difference between the outside air temperature and the cellar temperature is greatest. Even now though, my scores are quite different that the 19.75 yard scores I was getting. The addition option would get rid of any thermal issues, but, as I said, that's a bit much! But, you never know...
