Excerpts from a squirrel hunt.

Well this morning I took six squirrels with my dreamline classic. I would have had seven but I had been on the phone with my dad when the seventh came looking about. I am still in awe what this dreamline packs shooting 18.13 jsb. Mind you this is my first pcp. Prior to this, the only pellet rifles I have shot were springers and crossman 760 pump.

A few things I am noticing...

POI shift on the dreamline is happening unless it is treated with kid gloves. I mean don't even bump it a speck. If treated as it wants, it can shoot half inch groups at 50 yards. If not , It will be off by an inch or so. It's tempermental .

Squirrels are very curious. After knocking down two this morning, I let them lie where they dropped for 30 to 45 minutes. Don't you know that 4 or 5 more came in to investigate. Well, I dispatched four more in about 5 minutes as a result. I didn't know they had this type of behavior. Up until today, it was always one and done.

I also have the fx chronograph which I tried out today for the first time. High power it's shooting 18.13 at 900 to 912 fps. Medium power 861 to 888 and low power 578 to 594 . Prior to checking I would have thought that the differences between power modes would have been more uniform. Not the case . But at least now thanks to the fx chrony.

Lastly, I can confirm that the hades 15.89 shoots 50 fps faster than the above. It also had a much higher e.s. and standard deviation than the 18.13. At twenty yards testing , the hades did much worse than the 18.13 as well.

P.S. Reg set at 125 or so.

Thanks folks, I enjoy reading your posts and watching your videos. They have been quite informative and entertaining.

Yes Nutcracker , i did purchase one of those , it helps but it's not failsafe.

True, actually if the clamp does allow the barrel to move a little bit during a bump, then the clamp holds the barrel in the out of line position the bump caused. So it has to be pretty tight to the tube. I have not put one on my .22 streamline yet, I do use it on my .25. Long axx barrel.
