Well maybe not every owner but if you have the Bantam/Commander then you need one. These guns have a habit of the O ring in the fill valve going bad and venting all your air. So much so that there are videos out there on the proper repair.
What if you are on that special hunting trip or at a competition event, then what.
A one way foster valve and the corresponding quick connect foster fitting. Just plug it in and fill thru it. The one way valve will hold the air in just like the original fill valve.
It may look a little gamey but you are back in business. Probably would watch which way that thing is pointed just in case it would happen to pop off and of course once pressurized it can't be removed without first removing all the air from the gun.
