Wondering how many of you are tempted by “The Darkside.”

No but, there is one springer that would make a great case for springrs 

A Venom tune HW 77 .177 Lazer Glide. Had one and sold it oh how I wish I never did that.

No, and I still use a Benji hand pump for my pcps.

No. But being somewhat new to PCPs, I am making a solid effort everyday to keep it to only one, or two, or maybe three or four, or possibly five, but definitely a max of six or seven quality PCPs. No more than eight for sure.

I am with you . I sold off everything PCP but fell for a Taipan Mutant .22 deal here on AGN that I could not pass up.

No way! Love my pcp’s.

Depending on the day but one of each is quite a good balance for me. Royale 400 in .22 and a HW30 in .177. Honestly I have been using the 30 a lot more lately just to feel like a kid again, walking around with a pocket full of pellets and a light springer. Magical.

I did just the opposite, sold all my springers and loaded up on PCP's, nothing against Springers just like PCP's better. Sold most of my PB's too for PCP's and it was the correct dicision, love shooting PCP's!

Not me. First was a Beeman R7, second and last was a Theoben SLR 98. Now that I have a Bauer Jr. II compressor and all 3 sizes of Joe B. air tanks, I'm too afraid of what my wife would do to me.

kinda like a spinning reel vs. bait caster...I use both,one takes more "training ",butt both have there place.

Ooh I would love to have the SLR98. Too bad there isn’t a lefty floating around. 

To answer the OP question YES!! Oh wait, never felt the need for a pcp so don’t own one and no desire for all of the fiddling, fooling, and support equipment needed just to shoot a pellet. Nope

Whatever makes you the happiest is what you should do. I only have one PCP and I really love it. I'll keep it. I have absolutely nothing against them at all. I may even own another one day at some point. BUT.....I am always drawn to the quality springers. I really think that I like them more. Shooting a PCP with a high level of accuracy is pretty easy to do. It really is. It's almost to the point of being kinda bland after a while. Shooting a springer with that level of accuracy is absolutely possible, but more challenging. It takes more work to get the spring rifle to that point, and it quite honestly takes a bit more skill. Of course, all things relative, the spring rifle is limited more in range than a PCP. But, to me.....because it is more challenging, it is also more fun and enjoyable. To each their own. Its a big ole pie........pick your slice and take a bite !

(Nothing is more beautiful than a finely crafted German or British springer.....beautiful wood and deep blued steel).....

Started with springers, got frustrated, bought a quality PCP, sold most of my springers...……………….now buying springers again
