Evanix sniper.... and evanix airgun support in general

So recently I got an evanix x2 .357 and have been tinkering a little bit with it. Online, I can't seem to find any info for tuning, working on, modding, etc. This gun seems VERY well made...the machining is tight and crisp...not like the Hatsan I own, which has some burrs and rough edges. But, in all honesty the Hatsan performs quite impressively .

Does anyone here have one of these evanix x2 guns? Any feedback?

i have done some hammer spring screw adjustments on mine (in both directions) but the chrony results were confusing. I can not seem to get a consistent group of shots, in terms of fps OR accuracy. Everywhere I put the hammer screw, I get at least 9fps difference between each shot. With My Hatsan bully, I managed to get it dialed in to around 1fps between each shot!

And, the ammo selection in .357 is sadly pretty slim...I ordered some air Venturi slugs to test. I plan to do more work with it and will post here to share my results. The grizzly magnum slugs are terrible in this gun...even resized which I have tried...fuggetaboutit. The Hatsan vortex big pellets seem to work much better.

Either way, I'll keep tinkering and testing and post my results here.

Evanix are usually sprung pretty stiff. Get yourself some extra hammer springs and experiment with clipping a coil or two. Pyramid usually has extra springs for them, but you have to call. Boris is the guys name I believe. I've read nothing but good about the evanix line. Head over to GTA and post up your questions. Manny is the evanix guru over there.
