Evanix Air Speed .22 Semi-Auto Complete Video review

Hello Air Heads!!
Here is my video review of the new Evanix Air Speed. This is a semi-automatic, 10 shot rotary magazine fed animal that hits like a truck and looks good doing it. The craftsmanship drips from this PCP and you will see what she can do from pellets to slugs, it can deliver the smackdown right where you want it!

UPDATE!!!

Well boyz and girls here is my quick and dirty lil video of the Evanix Air Speed shooting 10 different pellets with a wide variety of weights, lengths, shapes, and manufacturers. This video is designed to do one thing, eliminate all the negative talk that the magazine was a deal breaker for the Air Speed.

Thank you for the great review! Very well done! Hope to see a 100 yard accuracy test. My only concern so far is that you have to seat each pellet in the magazine carefully. Seems to take away from the fast semi-auto feature unless you have a bunch of magazines pre-loaded.

I assume the barrel is not easily serviceable/replaceable? Curious how the cycling mechanism works using the fresh air vs. exhaust air and does it need any special maintenance?

@guod123 - The rifle is certainly capable of more than 40, I know that. There was a 5 to 8% increase with the trigger relocation. I will have more information in my follow up video of the Evanix Air Speed.

@Coldair - Thank you for the kind words and it really is a pleasure to shoot CA.

@CampFussell - I am glad the content was enjoyable and I thank you for the nice words Jimmy. Keep an eye out for round 2.

@texagdds - Thanks, I appreciate you noticing and sharing your opinion. I agree that semi's are becoming very reliable delivery platforms in PCPs.

@Bob_O - Thank you Bob, now can you imagine them letting me go in one of your barn permissions??? LOL

@TheIceman - Thank you so much for the positive feedback Iceman. Especially thank you for the +1

@Glem.Chally - Thanks Glem, we are both happy with these Evanix rifles, I love it!

@MScottLeeman - I tried that method Mike and see how it turned out for me LOL :) Thanks for the compliment man.

@D-RIG - Dale your 22.5's did really well, I did not have enough to go to 75 yards with them but I bet they would have been right there. Thanks for not only viewing and commenting but producing quality slugs that we can all enjoy.

@JimNM - Boots and pants and boots and pants and boots and pants and .... :) I will try to use more strings or air background music as I know it can be distracting. Thanks for the positive feedback as always Jim.

@fe7565 - As soon as the 12°F (-11°C) breaks and I can get out there and run some slugs at 100+ I will be. I agree if you are in a plinking scenario or a multiple target opportunity (10+) scenario, it could be annoying but in a hunting scenario, it is awesome to have instant follow-ups x 8 at the ready without a mag change. This rifle is an absolute dream to take apart and every part is serviceable. The barrel is held in with the typical two grub screw configuration and the clean air cycling system is awesome. When the hammer strikes the valve, it launches the pellet down the barrel while at the same time launches the hammer rearward to reset for the next shot, ingenious design. No special maintenance required. Thanks for the comment bud.

Regards,

Hajimoto

MR! Hajimoto, Great professional video work. I was able to hear and understand everything. rhetoric, instruction, pertinent info, and comments all were very clear and concise and to the point. Wonderful photography, all is perfect. This was a great review about a great semi-auto air rifle. Something I've been hoping for since I began "pesting" squirrels for tearing stuffing out of summer lawn furniture, destroying communication cables, "eating" every tulip bulb before it bloomed, digging up potted plants including my neighbor's medicinal grass, nest in the vehicle wiring ( expensive repairs) and bite every apple and never finish eating one. The neighbors never cease to complain about the ravages of the squirrels, rabbits and raccoons. GBGUNNER

I started watching this on my office computer, right away I realized, hey, this is going to be good. So I started over on the big screen tv. The other reviews or introduction to this rifle , did not really make the rifle seem all that appealing to me. I like the thoroughness of this review & the seriousness of your presentation. While I am not going to rush out and buy one of these, at least now we all have some real good & useful info. An educated customer is a happier customer. Thanks for a great review on the Air Speed.
