Hi Ernest,
I own an FX Impact in 22 cal. which I think was one of the last productions before the Impact X model. I am wondering if you can tell me if I can upgrade my unit to the new FX Impact X MKII, specifications.
1. New and stronger regulator.
2. New and bigger plenum.
3. New manometers
4. FX Sideshot magazine.

I think you can upgrade all of those things except the regulator. They call it a high power kit. Fxusa sells them i think, call to ask. You can still upgrade the regulator to a HUMA regulator which can go to high pressures also.

maybe you can install huma on it, send an email to huma with your actual reg. dimensions and they will tell you which generation is going to fit your impact... gauges also are available in huma air....i ting you dont need plenum, remember that a .30 impact is capable of 75+fpe... plenum was build larger because of the introduction of the new :357/9mm cal...side shot mag is available from utah airguns.... adapter is 20 bucks only!

Ernest, Can a Software be developed that will help FX air gun owners tune their gun configuration. Things such as standard set up to high power tuning will be available via the use of FX chrony. In addition, if high power internal parts are used there is setting available, again using the FX Chrony. Slug and pellet grain, barrel length, plenum size, and all necessary settings needed to set up is in this FX owned software. What do you think?
