Set up this morning on a whistle pig that has been eluding me for a couple weeks!
Shortly After first light a couple starlings landed in the bean field about 45 yards away and just couldn't resist...I shot the first one and other one came right back wondering what the hell just happened to his buddy and shot that one too...well I guess they worked like decoys and more kept landing and getting smoked! 16 in all.
Then about an hour later that chuck showed himself at 86 yards and the morning was a huge success....all shot with 24 grain VK .22 slugs at 865 fps. Thing is a laser!!!!!
