Looking to buy my first chronograph for airguns
I’ve used them before with paintball guns and I’m familiar with how they work.

I’m sure this has been brought up for discussion on here before.  If someone can direct me to a previous post or recommend a good entry level one in the $60- $80 range or less it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Not worth going cheap on if you ask me. Air chrony is a good one, no need for extra lights, always working in all light conditions.

    Thanks guys.
I’m seriously considering doing a field target shoot later this year with my gun and want to make up a chart for distances and pellet speeds.

I figure if I can have fun and enjoy field target at the entry level with a basic break barrel, the doors will open wide for a serious PCP rifle after that.

I use Pro Chrony Digital for around $100 and it is great, much better than the green or red fold out units I have had in the past.

Waiting for chrony that Ed (Edgun) uses. Heard good things about it.

I second that motion.  I’ve had two of them and their performance is perfect.

I’ll 3rd it – works great. Budget for a good tripod though too…makes set up easier. I was looking in your $ range when buying and there were too many good reviews on multiple sites to not spend the extra 10-15 bucks and keep from second guessing the little money spent later.

I have one of the Pro Chrono Digital on the way.  Should be here next week.  Have read nothing but great reviews.

I have a pro Chrony digital with the pc interface.  I’m am new at air gunning but have cast and reloaded all my own ammo for many years.   Had mine up on a camera tripod and a clumsy friend tripped on the cord and over it went. Broke one of the sensor “eyes” off its circuit board and I had to buy another one.

harbor freight makes a cheap carry case with a foam block that is partially sliced at 1/2″ increments in every direction.  You just pull out foam cubes until you have a void the size of the unit.  Cord, USB adapter, rods, and sun screens fit nicely and keeps it safe.
