It would be a great upgrade, be able to enter the type of bullet ur shooting and it would change to a preset strike level

I was in the past (in the 80s) making electric triggers for firearms and crossbows where the solenoid plunger will accelerate and release the sear. I preferred to use a higher voltage (E= 1/2 C V2 ), about 300-400V - basically the circuit of a small electronic flash (and I was using the flash circuit and capacitors from the disposable film cameras: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disposable_camera ). There is really no need for any other electronics as we do want to dump all the capacitor energy in the solenoid. A simple way is the use a SCR. The currents are high, but the duration short so the SCR need not be at the full current rating and can be quite small in size.

No electric triggers. electric hammer, solenoid hammer. triggers - gercon+magnets.
I know the formula. It is not always optimal for the mosfets that are used.
