I just received this for my Edgun and it is fantastic just screw it in and mount your bipod or sling.
Price is pretty good as well and fast delivery.

If it takes the place of the trigger guard screw, that seems like a awkward location to mount a bipod. Is that the screw it replaces?

I do not understand. The only screw I see is the one holding the trigger guard to the stock.

My .22 R3M does not have those holes either. Only the one at trigger guard.

I did not modifications to my stock....i do not know what to tell you guys apart that i am in Europe....i do not understand? Ed makes different stocks for Europe?
I got this link in ebay from another forum and wanted to spread the word, so to speak.
This is the same guy that sells the studs for the HW100 stocks....you simply remove the original screw and replace it with the stud...
I only have one Edgun and it came with the female threads as you see in the photos.

My EDguns do not have holes in the forend. To me it looks like there used to be a picatinny rail on that gun. Maybe Ed is now offering this feature. I would throw a rail on that forend.

So you are saying that i am lying and i put inserts into my stock?
Then let me ask you. Who are the other 2 buyers that got the stud from ebay?
In any stock that have insert from the manufacturer look like that.
Why don't you ask Ed what is going on, he is the one with the answers.

DKL. I don't think anyone is calling you a liar. It is just very possible that the importer did the modification. I have seen EDgun from around the world and I have never seen these type of threads in a OEM EDgun. Think about this. Ed doesn't even supply a fill port plug with the gun. Why would he put female stud mounts in the stock?

This is not something I am aware of Ed putting in his stocks.. It looks like someone has drilled and wound in Helicoils to suit mounting a picatinny rail or similar.. (quite a tidy way of doing it I will add)
If it is a new gun you have purchased Id say the guy you bought it from puts them there or switched your stock with his own because yours was prettier

My friends i got this rifle one and a half years ago from new and all i did to it was put a scope on it and now i have added the stud which i purchased from the ebay link above..
I do not know what is going on.
