Did a search function and only got one response. Wondering what scope would work nicely on the Edgun. Need one with highly visible reticle. Also what are the comparative ac-curacies at 50 and 100yds.

Well the DEDAL looks like it could be a great choice for any EDGUN problem is i never see them in stock. U would have 2 ask BRIAN AT EDGUN. .i use the SWFA 3 15 32 FFP ON MY WILDCAT AND LOVE IT PAT JOE RHEA does a excellent. Video on this scope. and other scopes hes my go to man ..whenever i buy a scope watch his videos and give him a shout..i did and it saved me. $ time and aggravation PAT

Ed guns are in stock now. When I save enough money, Edgun R5M Long will be my next gun. Dave

The R5M Matador has magazine holder, and a LDC, and a walnut stock as standard. Edguns also have the airtube out almost to the end of the gun which helps protect it from being bent. Originally, I did not care about that feature but I dropped a gun once on the LDC and bent the shroud. It cost me a lot of money to get it fixed, plus I missed a lot of shot before I figured out what I done.

Since the Dedal was mentioned, I must say I have a hard time conceiving of a 6x scope that is that good that its worth $795? Yes, its small, but for other than the Leshiy, is being that small important? I paid less than that for my Vortex Razor HD LH, which only weighs a pound, and I'd bet big money that the glass and reticle on that scope is better than the Dedal. And no, I've never see a Dedal in person. So that's just based on years of experience and a gut feeling about Russian technology. Low tech items like guns and airguns, they're great. But making a good scope with HD glass is another matter altogether... No offense intended.

edgun is one of the most reliable manufacturers. for me number one in relaibility is Taipan, then comes Edgun, then others.

Accuracy should be a wash between these two guns IMO. Or it damn well should be for what they cost! They are all great guns and different people prefer different brands. Myself, I'd choose EDgun but wouldn't try to talk you out of buying a wildcat if that's what you wanted. I'm sure either will serve you well and if not there is always the classifieds!?
Edit: Also, have you checked out the SWFA scopes? Solid scopes and they look great on EDguns!

edguns are really built to last rifles... the only not very good thing of edgun maybe is trigger... not the best!!
