Edgun R5M Questions

My biggest concern with barrel alignment in the shroud is clipping in the moderator. You would like the pellet path through the barrel and moderator to be parallel to the center line of both. The moderator path for the pellet will always be parallel by design. However, if the barrel is skewed to the left or right it increases the likelihood of clipping.

The other issue with a barrel pointing left or right is scope sighting. In a perfect world, minimal scope adjustment left or right (windage) is required to get the scope into alignment with the barrel if the center line of both are parallel looking down. The windage should remain the same no matter how far out the POI is and the only thing you need to deal with is elevation. If the barrel is pointed left or right some windage adjustments will need to be made as the POI distance changes.
