Ed is the man!
There are rarely problems with Edguns, on rare occasions there are problems, the guns are easy to fix on your own. On the super rare occasions when the guns break, Ed's there! Gotta love the company!

Messaged Ed today and got a super fast response! He indicated the cocking mechanism is still in transit to him as he has not received! I will update this as soon as I have infor to share!

I have been wondering what was happing with this. Hope he figures out. Please keep us posted. These were the one gun I researched and read bullet proof, easy to work on your self , over and over again. Now, dang there’s several posts with guys having issues with yet another brand.

Thought I’d provide a quick update since I heard back from Ed today! He was able to get a replacement breech block made for me and has shipped to Edgun West! I should have by Christmas and hopefully will be shooting this beast again soon! He still has not received the old breech block so no update on what actually happened to the one that was not functioning as expected!

Hopefully you get it in time. It will be a good Christmas. I regret not getting an R5. Hopefully Ed comes up with something new in .30cal.

Yeeaaaahh for you Sr. and yea that over the pond shipping to certain places sometimes goes a little wonky haha. Ed has done you good by getting the new 1 out before even receiving the old one to inspect it. It is support like that that is getting rare lol. I am happy you are on the way back to shooting it again. I love mine. Oh yea one more good joke for ya ! When it gets fixed I will swap you one of my crowns for it haha. Later

UPDATE - Ed has come through!!! I finally received replacement cocking mechanism!! It looks great and fits like a glove... the guns shoots like it should and is an absolute laser with 33gr JSBs...really happy and excited to be shooting this gun again! Thanks Ed!!

You should email Ed himself or message him on his youtube. I did one time about those metal mags and Ed sent me the plastic ones free of charge
