Edgun Matador R5M handle spring problem

First of all I would appretiate you if you give me the serial number of the gun, just for statistics. As only having had a good feedback I have chance to improve what I do.



Second -- I got some claims about the springs of the handles and based on the serial numbers of the guns I found out that we got the batch of the weak springs from our supplier. Unfortunately that is impossible to check out this kind of things at place, as if there are some problems with the quality, it appeares much later. Anyhow, having knowing about the problem with some guns I made this video:

the Benelux importer Joost. ( luchtbuks.com) replaced my springs free of charge . Fantastic man to deal with ! As Ed explined a bad batch of handle springs was used but can be replaced with good ones . Small issue that cannot be avoided on forehand .

I have the same problems on my Lelya 2.0 . She is only 2 months old and is the updated version with the new cheek piece .

The right handed spring broke yesterday in two pieces. 

The serial number on mine is 2352 ( reference for Ed’s statistics )

It's pretty incredible that the manufacturer himself watches these threads and responds to issues like this. That's why I own an R3M long. No problems whatsoever with it, but I'm glad Ed is sorting this out for you.

I want to keep the quality as good as possible, that is why I need a real feedback

Did anyone ever identify this spring as mine has failed and the U.K. importer does not keep them instock.It looks a very common spring and it would be nice to have an alternative supply to avoid these unnecessary down times

I'm very lucky to have such a beautiful, powerful and accurate gun. I have also issue with left handle was wondering how this can be fixed. But now I got it thanks. I've sent my details to Edgun hope will get springs
