Edgun Leshiy Questions to existing owners

(1) I found it difficult to fire this gun freehand. With the buttpad pressed against my shoulder in the traditional shooting position - its really difficult to crane my neck downwards to get a good view through the scope. Am using a vortex strike eagle with a vortex one piece mount. It would be easier if I had higher scope mounts but I do like my scopes as close to the axis of the barrel as possible. Alternatively, if i lift the gunupwards so that the bottom 1/3 of the buttpad contacts my shoulder then I get a decent view through the scope but find this unnatural. I don't think I have an unusually long neck. I'm of average height and build. I now raise my right shoulder which helps like Ed and the other guy in the picture

(2) Can you store the gun in the unfolded straight position?

(3) Is dry-firing ok?

I have a bug buster on my leashy it come with medium scope mounts it's a little wird feeling at first but I don't mind it know if you like a little longer butt pad you can change it out I seen on edgun West photos a few guys did but it's not bad to me I have gotten used to it I only have my one 2 weeks now as for storage you can fold it or keep it unfolded I asked the same question when I got mine edgun said don't matter. I would use higher rings and move your scope as far forward as you can if its a small one. Im running a small utg with a small side focus wheel. Love the setup. Also looks kinda cool with that smaller side wheel. It is an unusual little design (in a good way). For me it works out after some time of use, but at first it did seem a bit awkward. I think im still getting used to the auto safety if anything.

I had the same problem. I couldn't get the gun to "feel" right. The bottom corner of the butt pad was the only part in contact with my body. I could have been alieviated this a bit with very high scope mounts, but like you, I also like the scope as close to the barrel as possible. I also had trouble getting a good sight picture because I needed the scope mounted backwards farther than it wanted to go. I shot it daily for about a month while tinkering. In the end, I decided that the gun just wasn't a fit for me.

I wouldn't dry fire it if I could help it, although I did when setting the trigger for the second stage trigger mod. No harm was caused. There really isn't a need to dry fire the gun since there is that handy grub screw to drain the air reservoir.
