I was asked how exactly to do the Leshiy "2-Stage" trigger mod. This video should answer any questions.

I tried adding the spring so that the trigger would rebound on its own when the safety is off and a shot is not taken. The weak spring I used was not strong enough to do the trick. The strong screw I used was too strong and wouldn't allow the rifle to cock. Manually pushing the trigger forward doesn't bother me enough to look for the goldilocks screw that would be just right.

With the spring plunger I used, the trigger resets and cocks just fine on its own without helping the trigger forward or adding a second spring... I did have to order 4 different spring plungers from 2 different suppliers though to find one with the "magic" tension and travel that was strong enough for an obvious second stage but light enough and with enough plunger travel to let the trigger reset when cocking the rifle normally without needing to help it forward manually or adding a secondary spring.

Good thing I ordered two, because I received one correct one and one incorrect one with a heavier spring that did not let the trigger reset on its own.

This plunger is even lighter tension than the one above and may work even better, but I forgot to order it...

Just installed the "magic" Gibralter from MSC yesterday. Works perfectly and trigger springs back when shot not taken. I didn't discover the 10 pack on Amazon for the other style till after I ordered . I like the delrin plunger and it seems to be good quality. Don't think I'll try anything else. The trigger is perfect now.
