EDGUN Leshiy 1 Questions from New Owner

I am the proud owner of this Limited Edition Blue Edgun Leshiy in .22. I always wondered why people loved these guns so much. As soon as I had one in my hands I realized why. This thing is super awesome.

Fill pressure?

Is this thing Regulated?

Favorite ammo?

Would the 350mm barrel fit inside my existing shroud?

Post your Leshiy pics here. I'd love to see some custom grips and accessories. Thanks! -Nate

In order to use the 350mm barrel, you need the extension kit. Problem is, the new one will be black, and not match your Limited Edition color. That needed to be ordered when the gun was new. I also recommend installing a Huma reg to increase the capacity of the air tube (more shots per fill as the Huma reg takes less space in the air tube), and when ordering parts, pick up a Wika gauge to save shipping costs when buying it later for when, not if the EDMU digital gauge dies.

I believe all of these special color editions came with the 350mm extension colored the same as the gun. Do you not have a same color extension piece with yours?

Also - the pictured wooden grip used to be available at EdGun West but I did a quick search and don't see it listed any longer. So yeah, your next bet is to reach out to Steven Brown and he'll make you a hella nice grip.

Steven Brown (UK) only contact is through Facebook Messenger.

I think that's an Edgun Walnut grip, not a Stephen Brown.

I think I got one with my Leshiy but believe it was modified by one of the previous owners. I've never installed it. I'll check next time I'm at our house. Jbavo103 - I'll send you a PM if I have one.

But I'd look at the SB walnut examples in the meantime like Cmatera & CTshooter suggested.

Yea that isn’t a sb grip it’s the subpar edgun grip that came on special editions and I think the first 500. You’d be better off with a sb grip though unless you have tiny hands. Like someone else said i think all special editions came with the extended shroud that matched the original gun color. Without the extension you can’t put the 350mm barrel. From my experience in .22 the jsb 14.35 were the most accurate. And also from my experience filling it up to 300 bar was kinda pointless, from 300-260 I only got 4 more shots so it wasn’t very efficient at the high pressure. I usually just fill it now to 260 and I get roughly 25 shots.

I love mine and could not see myself ever parting with it. I run the 250mm barrel in .177 or .22. Im still using the stock regulator and getting 21 shots in .177 with JSB monsters at 844 fps. Here is a resent photo. Knife was just a size reference I used for another post about a good backpack airgun. It is a rather large knife but I do keep it with my when im out and about.

Elbowgrease - that's pretty impressive output. I'm running a Hum at 125 bar with a 350mm .177 barrel and I'm only getting 860 fps out of the .177 monster. It's got to be a bit of a beast to wrangle with that power in the 250mm barrel, no?

Actually it handles fine and not near as loud as one would expect. I never have adjusted the regulator or even the hammer spring power adjuster. I originally purchased it as .22 then later swapped the barrel to the .177. I have my data saved in strelok on ammo/speeds.

JSB .177 10.34 grain at 942fps

JSB .177 7.9 grain at 1014

JSB .177 13.43 grain at 844

Darn, I was afraid of the extension being another color. I'm about to email the last owner and see if he got an extension.

You could have it done. Should not cost to much to do. Dont get me wrong, it will cost but should be reasonable. You could also wrap it in something that fits. Another option would be a good quality paint and clear coat. You would be surprised at what you could find out there. The blue might be a bit hard to match perfectly but I bet you can find something close. If you have a compressor you could get a spray gun and have a color match mixed up. Or even an airbrush setup.

I know the custom color Leshiy's were delivered with a matching color extension for the 350mm barrel. That would be a bummer if it got separated from the set.

I checked with the last owner of my gun...the blue extension must have been separated...it's not around.

....such a fun gun inside of 50 yards....not much good past 50 as the .22 is only going about 550 fps....but the fit and finish on this precision airgun is second to none!

Bug Buster Scope was made for this gun! I had this 3-9x power Bug Buster laying around but they are available in 3-12x power on eBay for about $90 new. They have a Mil-Dot reticle and Parallax down to 3 yards!...yes 3 yards!!!
