Noooo! That probably would have been mine if I knew he had that color! I thought the green laminates were mostly green on one side.. I don't like the green he has on his website for order. This one.... Is really awesome! Congrats on a beautiful stock!

This thread is bumming me out because I want one so bad. I like your photography skills. Great pictures. I have a question for you since you have both the R5M Standard and the Lelya 2.0. Are you able to swap the two section moderator from the R5M Standard onto the Lelya?

They are the same. The only difference is the extension behind the moderator that centers the barrel on the long or standard R5M. Other than that all the parts are interchangeable between guns. The R5 .30 has a much larger moderator. If you unscrew the shroud cover and moderator you could place them onto the Lelya or R5M

My Lelya 2.0 .22 cal, with the moderator from my R5 .30 cal. Screws right on and fits perfect. I haven't shot it yet to hear what the sound difference is with the bigger moderator.

That is pretty neat! Let us know how it turns out. I just saw this video with Ed demonstrating the interchangeability between the R5M Long, Standard, and Lelya 2.0 from another thread. Pretty cool.

silly question why the layers go that way in the laminate? And not the other way round?

It would look a lot better? Would it break if the layers went vertical as opposed to horizontal so to say? i have seen so many micarta knife handles they always look better than gun stocks...

is it a lot more expensive to make fat blocks of laminate? parhaps it has also something to do how many round surfaces are on the stock! If the sides are flat, it will never look great.

The change in appearance is very subtle on this. Looking forward to the results.

Great Photos, these laminates make me wish I had one to go on my mine. Can't wait until I can upgrade.
