How do baracudas shoot out of your edgun?...do they group well?.

Terrible. My EDgun hates them. If you ask Ed he'll tell you his custom barrels are made with JSB in mind. don't waste your money on them. Now the Eddie will shoot the 15.89 and 18.1 with equal accuracy. I have owned almost every bullpup on the current market. I am telling it straight the EDgun with the 18.1 is so accurate that it makes me a better shooter. The EDgun is the OG (original gangsta) bullpup.

Congrats on the new Eddie. A couple things about your new bully. First it will come shooting hot. They seem to be set pretty high from the factory. Mine shot the 18.1 at 960. I followed Ed's advice and I shot the gun for about 500 rounds at the factory setting. The gun settled in at 930. I then adjusted the HST down to 900 FPS. That was the point where the regulator and HST were working harmoniously. That will be where the gun uses about 7-8 cubic CM of air for one Joule. The HST has a locking collar that is black. If it comes loose the HST will move and you'll lose speed and your POI will change . Take the extra O ring for the probe that comes with the gun and put it behind the locking collar. This makes a great locking washer and the collar will not move.

Agreed. JSB is the only pellet of choice for this gun. Tried several times to get my hands on one of these beauties. When the R3M came I couldn't resist the temptation. But wasn't able to get my hands on it. This is the one that GOT AWAY.

Baracudas have never shot as well as JSB's in any of my various brand .22's and .25's. That would include Edguns,Daystates, and FX's. Wish they would.

Add my edgun to the list that do not like Barracudas. 2" groups at 50 yards on a good day. JSB 18.1's are the only ticket for that gun. My Edgun .25 shot Polymags very well, but my .22 does not shoot standard polymags well at all. I just bought some .22 polymag shorts. I am optimistic about that pellet, given its similar shape to the .25 polymags.

Ok guys A BIG thank you to all....after i finish this post the order is going in for the 18 grain JSB's....i got the RM3M edgun long, anybody has one and how many shots to you get from it and what speed do you shot your pellets?
Also will it need an additional LDC or would i be satisfied as is.....It is for hunting really but i want to be as silent as possible so i do not spook the other game.

In my experience the 18.1 fly best from 860 FPS to 930 FPS. The EDgun Is pretty quiet but you can reduce the noise with a LDC for backyard sniping. The shot count will vary depending on the speed you choose. It is safe to estimate that you will get somewhere between 50 and 80 shots per fill. You will need a Hagan shroud cover that replaces the factory one with 1/2 UNF. If you need his contact information PM me.
