Has anyone tried them yet? I've done a couple searches but come up blank. Seems the new pellet is quite magical with some rifles. I was wondering about giving them a shot.

Not personally but I have seen trials of them done in the Matador. The smaller Mk 2 heavies work best as the Mk 1s are harder to feed and Eddies tend to have tight chokes. Ed has selected a faster than std twist rate barrel for his matadors to excel at long range shooting so if you want to get the most accuracy from the new heavy pellets you should raise your reg pressure a little to get them to 900- 1050fps. My testing so far shows they love fast twist barrels and high velocity.

I have tested the heavys yesterday with the .25 Edgun Leyla.
They are not so good as the 25.39gr Kings.
Is probably due to the insufficient speed.
In the Matador I will test them as well.

Thanks for the replies. The 25.4s are great in my gun right now. There has been so much talk of the new heavies, I thought I'd ask. Looking forward to seeing some additional feedback.

Yes I'm curious to know what these will do in the eddy standard without having to turn up the reg just the hst what velocity did u get

hello , ive just turn up my reg and its shooting jsb 25.4 at 980 fps . Any one have experience in turning up the regulator and to choose the optimun pressure for heavier pellets ?
