Great shooting,

See that off-reg spike, that comes from too much of the speed being controlled by the hammer spring. What you're seeing is a valve that is being held closed by pressure and not allowed to open the proper amount to exhaust the plenum. Almost every regulator will spike a little at the end of the string, but most of it can be controlled by finding the proper balance of HST and regulator setting for the desired speed. The quick and dirty way to find the speed / HST setting is to fill about 10 bar above the regulator setting. If you get a spike, then the HST needs to be turned up to the spiked speed. If you want the pellet speed to be lower when compared to the speed shown at the regulator spike you will drop the regulator 5 bar and try your short string again. This method will save air and time.
