EBR Guns and Calibers

At Extreme Bench Rest this year I was surprised to see so many Daystate guns. FX dominated the competition at least in 2016 and 2017. Also seemed tp be a lot more.22 whereas .25 and .30 seemed historically to be the calibers of choice. Those that competed what brand, model and caliber did you shoot? Those not there your thoughts/comments?

At least some of the 'blame' (for good/bad/past/present) has got to be related to the fact AoA used to be all about FX, FX took that back and AoA seems to be completely focused on Daystate now. Hey, I have several FX's that shoot great. Also have a RedWolf (sponsered by nobody) that shoots lights out. So not trying to take anything away from either company, Just a not so random thought.... :)

1st place sportsman 100 yard. .30 FX Crown 214 3 x's. I love FX and Daystate rifles I've had the pleasure of pulling triggers on both brands. I believe both brands preform equally. At the end of the day it depends on the shooter and how well he or she can shoot with his or her rifle. Also features of the rifle come into play. I love the high capacity magazines that FX has in their rifles. But I also like the higher shot count that you can get from Daystate due to their electronics and that they are now HUMA regulated.

I myself wish that there wasn't any politics when it comes to Air rifle brands but...... I understand why there is.

That's just my 2 cents worth:)

Well it seems that AOA no longer has exclusive dealer rights on FX since 2016 and 2017. So new brands are now featured at EBR go figure. It’s smart really.....promote the brands where you have exclusivity its good for business.

AoA's sister company was the sole importer, distributor, and warranty center for FX in the USA. That was until FX opened FX America in North Carolina. FX now handles those functions themselves in NC. AoA remains an FX dealer, however.

With regard to Daystate, Brocock, Weihrauch, perhaps Diana and other brands as well, I believe AoA's sister company is still the importer & distributor for those brands in the USA, and a warranty center & dealer.
