Early Impact .22 slug liner report

I'm up to 930 fps on the 30 gr slugs, but I haven't noticed any real change in accuracy. I think I'm going to have to upgrade my shooting table to eliminate that portion of my problem. I (as the shooter) will always be the main problem :)

For fun, I milled a bullet mold to cast some 22 cal, 30 gr bullets. I was really pleased with how well they came out, until I shot them today. The NSA 30gr had about a 1" group, and mine had maybe 6" groups. Looks aren't everything I guess, so back to the drawing board.

For extra fun, I also shot some JSB 18.1gr pellets at full power. They averaged 1108 fps, and gave a nice supersonic crack. They had just about the same 1" group as the NSA slugs, which somewhat defies the accepted logic of shooting pellets slower.
