my phone will not focus on cross hairs. when you move gun around, the phone will focus and clear up, but when you stop and settle on target the phone looses focus and cross hairs become blurry. it seems to work when target is less than ten yards but after that it is issue. i must have phone in the wrong mode. suggestions?

I don’t have an Eagle Vision but I do have a Side-Shot and use an iPhone 7 to video. All I do is to lock AE/AF when in iPhone video mode by touching the center of the screen for a few seconds while viewing the target. ‘AE/AF Lock’ will display at top of phone’s screen. You also can manually adjust the brightness using the slider to right of Yellow out-lined box when the autoadjust is locked.

Don’t use auto focusing when you use a iPhone as a scope cam. You may lock the focus and exposure point (cross hairs). Simply tab and hold on cross hairs for a few second. When you see a yellow box “AE/AF Lock” at the top of the screen, release your finger ... Now you can go around, and the cross hairs is always on focus ...

On my Samsung, I just have to touch the screen and it switches to Manual focus. It might take me a few times to get the focus right, but after that, I am all good. iPhone is going to be somewhat the same, just like others have already mentioned...

This post is super old but seriously just helped me a ton! I never even thought of using the focus locking (dummy) this is a life saver for all those times I have an animal in my scope and then my phone decides to focus out the damn crosshairs lol. Thanks guys
