Eagle Vision Infinity FAE-S50 scope mounts question

I am almost embarrassed to ask this question but here it is. I recently purchased a new air rifle, scope and mounts. The place I purchased from was kind enough to mount the scope on the rifle with Eagle Vision Infinity FAE-S50 mounts. I need to move the scope and mounts further forward on the gun's rail and I am unable to use my fingers to break the Eagle Vision mounts finger screws loose. The finger screws have a hex head and there is one on each of the two mounts. Each hex screw head has a hole drilled in it. Is my problem simply there is lock tite on the screws or is there some other reason they are so tight. I wanted to ask the question before I put a socket on them and possible did damage.

I don’t have this mount but after looking at it on line I would try the following first I would look into the hole on the “finger screw” to see if there is a set screw that is tightened down in there. If not I would use a small socket wrench to loosen the finger screw after backing the set screw out a bit if it’s there . I would also check with the manufacturer in England for instructions if your not sure how to adjust that type of site. Typically the front ring is kept in its lower position slightly loose(but tight on the rail) and the rear ring is raised up and tighten in a elevated position, then tighten front mount, this will allow the scope to be adjusted to keep cross hairs on target at longer distances. This mount is similar to the FX ring which I have used.
