I had to steal a scope for a new project, so I stripped my trusty old .25 marauder of its glass. I haven’t shot this gun in a long while and sort of felt bad. All I had was a cheap 9x fixed parralex scope. This gun is tuned for 16 shots at 920fps with JSB kings. This target was 16 shots at 30 yards. Was going to sell this gun, but decided to order a new scope for it and keep it in the airgun safe after today.

A .25 Marauder I built. It started life stock, then had a WAR valve and hammer, and now it has all stock parts that I modified. One of the best .25 GM barrels I have had.

Great shooting Aaron . Hey man does the war hammer and valve cut down on the Burping that some marauders do ? My buddies sounds like a whoopee cushion when its fired .
I know they are more precise and powerful , just curious if it did anything about that .
P.S. that makes my old Marauder look like shotgun !!! Wow I wish mine could have shot like that !!

The new SSG’s or FFH is the best device to cut hammer bounce. WAR no longer makes the no bounce hammer as they replaced it with their SSG.

Once I hit near 50fpe, hammer bounce really isn’t much of an issue. By the time I get a gun to 60fpe and higher it is all but gone.
