Duel port over single enlarge port

Sorry getting off track, but my new design duel TP with 25 degree nozzle has why more speed increases. That HUMA was my old 1st gen Duel TP. My current took years of testing and perfected plus it has a low power side to drop speed 200fps plus and you know by now it’s difficult to lower speed on an FX PP or M14 plenum on .22 and .25 cal. With my testing you can expect 20-35fps more with pin probe. With stock AG these days so many guys have lots of mods already installed. 1st main purpose of this design is to prevent ammo dipping in The TP 2nd is speed increase and 3rd is shoot count. Note: on the low power side the speed is set by the size of the Custom port doesn’t matter if you have 100b or 150b speed remain the same, in another word its like an hour glass Don’t matter how much sand you have the output Remain the same/repeatable!

I found the stock Huma dual port came very close to the gains I saw with my Modded single port. This was on a .25cal Crown. 
I plan to smooth the Huma out a bit and I’m sure that will free up a few fps.



Now, how do I go about getting one of those Ernest specials?

Maybe you turn it 180 degrees and a smaller port there. Looks like it has "duel" sides to use.

I have 2 from Huma in 22 cal and one in 30cal I bought to try and retrofit to another gun but they won't work. They are new in the package if anyone is interested. 

If you watch earnest videos on his duel port. On the other side is just a normal single hole which is standard.

So back to topic. I see the huma duel port only give a little more power and also ppl still have to modify it by flaring it and also enlarging it. Hmmmmm, wouldnt huma tested have tested it and if flaring it and enlarging it give better results, wouldn't they have done that before shipping it to the customer?

No different than folks enlarging/opening up air flow passages on a high performance mustang fresh from the Ford factory, lol. First thing I did to a brand new power stroke was open up the air passages. Same with a 1st Gen Cummins.

It’s been engineered, tested, but there will always be folks wanting more....



Correct me if I’m way off track, but I see Airgun designs sort of like how vehicles are designed, to cater to the mass public for best fuel economy, vehicle longerivity, and comfort.

No hard shifting trannies that snap necks backwards( which are way better than soft and mushy shifts that come from the factory), power governed down to make the vehicle last longer and fewer trips in for warranty work. Less pedal power available means better fuel mileage, also.

Same with Airguns. Most 25 calibers we see from any maker come in at the 40 ft lb range, offer decent shot count. 30 cals, in the 70 ft lb range averaging 28-34 shots on reg(typ FX gun).

Huma would be no different. Designs are for the most efficient, less noise, no kickback upon firing, shot count, all the stuff everyone here already knows. I mean, unless you specified a specific setting on your regulator during purchase, how many of you have seen a setting for a 25 cal come in at 160 BAR, factory set by Huma?

The only reason we all are taking it upon ourselves to modify the factory designs is for power and speed. Not really for shot count, or else we would’ve just left it stock.

In my leased quatro right within first couple months I installed a Neuspeed Power Module and raised the torque for extra 70+ ft/lbs also started filling with 94+ octane if I could get to a 97 it was a lucky day.... I am telling you driving a new beast with a crick in a neck is "priceless".

I did not altered the ECU and for any service visits I just reconnected couple connectors...no warranty at risk. But, with an increased power/torque the fuel economy got better, the engine and the shifting got smoother, and the overall impression

I asked myself why they - audi - didn't built that "upgraded" or "boosted" engine at a first place? My brother works there in the audi engine factory, he is saying they building over 140 different variation of engines.

I got myself a car, for a price point I was ready to pay (also as far I could stretch my budget), but after some time I realized there are next steps, the upgrades, I wanted an aftermarket Neuspeed Power Module to put all in a perspective.
