I'm getting the itch for a dreamline and I really prefer a walnut classic but it appears you give up the hammer adjustment. my question is do you totally give up Hammer adjustment or is it adjustable if you remove the action from the stock?
the block with the hammer adjustment dial is not included in the classic, but from what I've seen, you can still adjust the hammer with a long hex wrench through the back of the block. Probably one reason why the classic is the least expensive (Synthetic is about $999) of the bunch so far. You give up the block. The Lite has the adjustment block, so while the lite is danged ugly, it gives one more adjustment from the exterior.
Thanks guys I think you guys are all right I just rewatched aeacs coverage of the dreamline and steve had one picture with an allen wrench stuck in the back of the gun without even removing the stock
Because the dreamline can go all the way up to 30 cal that must mean it has a lot of extra power on tap. I'm actually interested in a 22 cal and see how it would push the jsb redesigned monsters. My daystate Huntsman Regal will only push them at 700 ft per second but they have a really high ballistic coefficient for a pellet. My labradar says at 700 feet per second it has a ballistic coefficient of .058
