Thank you for the reply, and I apologize if I posted this in the wrong forum. I did try indexing the barrel, liner... but struggled to get it back to where it was shooting as well as before I started experimenting with it. It is back in the original position, but I do have a question, " Is there a certain torque value that the factory uses when assembling the liner/shroud assembly. The reason why I ask, is because after I returned the liner to it's original position, and even though I also indexed the barrel nut, torquing the barrel nut ever so slightly clockwise or counterclockwise would change the POI.
Because of this little experiment, I'm pretty sure I won't ever replace this liner with a slug liner.
BTW, my Dreamline Tactical handles very nice, love the trigger, the smooth action, etc and is a very accurate shooter.
