Ok guys and gals, it been a few months since the Dreamline system has been out. Watched all the reviews, but what is everyone’s actual experience with the rife. Accuracy, reliability, shots per fill, type of scope, what pellets are working the best, calibers, slugs vs pellets? Which dealer has the best customer service? I know that is a lot of information to ask.

Thanks in advance.

Retirement present to my self,

Rich

So far, accuracy and dependability has been first rate. I use a Hawke Sidewinder 6-24X scope. I get at least 40 shots per fill and the JSB 15.9 gr pellets are best with the 18.1 not far behind. I've never used slugs and have no reason to. SPA Weapons' customer service can't be beat. Ken does a great job prepping each rifle before they are shipped.

Got mine from utah airguns. Fine service. i have a .22 classic. Its my first pcp and never shot one before, so i cant really give comparison to anything else. At 20 yards from a rest, i can empty a mag in the same hole. At 35 its about a 5/8ths . all with pellets out of the tin. It gets the advertised shot count at high power. im shooting jsb exact jumbo heavy 18.13g. i dont have a chrony but the shot card that came with the rifle was at 875 fps. the scope i have is a Hawke vantage sf 6-24×44. the rife seem a bit delicate and in need of a barrel band as many have made reference to. I hope that helps a little.

Is the Dreamline powerful enough to push 25 cal jsb heavies around 900 fps?

It should be. I only shoot 22 cal. so what weight are you talking about? I did shoot a few over the crony with his 25cal but forget what the weight was. I think it was the lighter ones at the stock settings and they were around 900FPS. We were going to tune his gun last week but we both got busy and didn't have the time to set everything up.

Well,,,I have the classic in walnut 22. No adjustments. The Pros,, It's very accurate, very quiet, the mag works well and loads very smoothly. Shot count,,I shoot 2 mags worth, 18 shot magazine, 18 grain pellets, Max setting before I recharge it.I have'nt tested it to see how many shots I can get out of it before the shots start dropping. I need new diffusers for my chrony so I can't give any numbers The weight is good,Hovering around 7and 3/4 to 8 lbs I'm guessing. It has an Aztec 3-18 x 50 scope on it and it does'nt feel top heavy to me.The checkering is nice and where it should be. Airs up easily enuff, Shoulders well. Very well ballanced from moderator to butt pad. The stock is on the plus side of ok. My hands are small/medium. The fore-stock is nice, not too fat or oddly shaped, lays in the hand nicely and the checkering really helps when lifting the rifle out of the gun cabinet or off a rest and shooting in the field. The Butt-stock length of pull is 14",standard. raised cheek rest with very good mild angles. The walnut has descent character. The safety's location is questionable as it is is placed about 1.5 inches directly behind the charging handle and goes over the safety as you cock it. The charging handle does swing out and clears the safety no problem. I thought I would'nt like the trigger shoe cause it has kind of a flat surface but I'm ok with it.Trigger gaurd is thin but hard and sturdy. The Cons,,The safety is too light, there is no discernable feel to it as you move it from fire to safe or vice-versa. Except when I put it on safe but not cocked, it feels like a little snag about half-way from off to on. Maybe it's not supposed to be put on safe if it's not cocked. The safety lever is made of some bent 14 gauge wire. Not alot of confidence in this safety. The trigger, hmmm,,it's has a hair trigger. This is like bench rest competition light. I've adj it aliitle but it's still too light. The 1st stage is short, 2nd stage breaks cleanly, hardly any travel. Some times it seems like it has no 1st stage and the trigger breaks way to easy. I've had a few unintentional dis-charges because of this. Also, you must have complete follow thru of the trigger pull or the trigger may not reset and the gun won't cock. The wrist on the stock feels just alittle crimpt to me.Someone with larger hands might find placing their thumb a bit awkward. The Power Setting wheel/knob is only half exposed and is very stiff and very hard to turn, you can't get a good grip the little wheel so you sort of press/twist really hard.Hurts the fingers.Good thing it's knurled.I had to remove the stock to turn and work it a bit.The manual says this is normal and should get easier as it's used. The stocks grain is alittle pourous and has a plain dull stain. Really does'nt do the stock justice imo, I plan on refinishing it.The magazines are expensive.Getting accessories are a problem,at least for me, finding a lay-out with dimentions. AND the manometer is on the muzzle end of the gun./////// As far as pellets go,Max setting.Really likes AA Field Heavy 18gr. AA 16gr almost as well, Honerable mentions to JSB 18.1/JSB Monsters 25.4 gr/ExJumboRS/ H&N Barracuda match/sniper lites/magnums//Terminator/Barracuda Hunter Extreme. Not good were H&N SilverPoints/ H&N FTT 5.53,54,&55/H&N Excite Spike/Spitzkugel/Coppa-Spitzkugel/JSB Diabolo StratonJumbo 15.9gr/Ruger SuperDome/ Crossman Domes. Minimum power setting,indoors,20 yds, only tested these 2 JSB Express 14.35 and JSB EX Jumbo RS and they did very very well.Much better than when shot on Max setting. Customer service, not alot of exp there. PA answers my email inquiries promptly. The answer is useally( no,and don't know).Unlike UA who are easily confused.Hmm,that pretty well sums it up from my end.I hope it helps some way
