"Dreaming" of a Dreamline ;)

I got the Crown 2 months ago. Terrible consequences: now all my other guns are relegated to ornaments and I am hooked on FX and need to adjust my budget expectations. Seriously, that air gun is amazing. Accuracy, feel, sound, looks...I thought the power adjustment stuff was a gimmick.... now I cannot live without it. I was about to buy the Wildcat, but had a few issues: lack of adjustability, smoothtwist X is is a $110 upgrade, and it uses different mags to my Crown. Then...the Dreampup ...it is like FX was reading my mind!

Any views on how this is likely to compare to the Wildcat? is the cocking at the back of the gun an issue? Otherwise is it as good as the Wildcat? I expect the only issue will be the cocking....worth the tradeoff for the adjustability and mags. My other option is the Impact, but then price delta is huge, and likely doesnt make sense as I already have my Crown.

I wish we knew the rough prices up the other stocks...eg to convert the Dreampup to the classic in laminate. Great idea but they tend to price these things so high that it is not really worth it much of the time. If it was reasonable then it would be a no-brainer to get. I would love the give away....would likely still spend all the money I earmarked knowing me (for stocks, barrels, etc). Darn you FX......I am hooked :)

Really great business model, great execution, incredible customer insight. Well done FX. And well done to Steve for covering this and others so well.

Dear Shooters,

New member from the Netherlands, up here we have a quit active airgun scene as well as in the US no power limits.

So now after lots of info gathering (thank you for that) I'll try to contribute a bit.

I have been testing the dreamline-lite in .22 since two weeks, which Krale airguns has lend me and I started a Dutch review on the leading dutch airgun forum. If you use the translate function on eg google I think you can distract some more info here including an exploring 100 meter outdoor test (more than 5 shots :) ) and preliminary prices :

I tried to put down the info that I could not find on the commercial reviews, so hope it helps some. I am a recreational shooter, no competition, just passion.

In about 1,5 weeks I will make a final test on the 110 meter (about 110 yards) indoor. The benchmark competitor is my custom BSA .22 pcp, with which I can shoot sub-moa groeps of 10 on that distance (BR when I am in a good shape).

Best regards and shoot 'm straight

Dear Shooters,

A new and very interesting development: HuMa-air has developed a regulator for the FX Dreamline. In short: more shots, and same as with the Streamline, more power. In .25 with the jsb king heavy mk2 up to 900 Fps or approx. 61 ftlbs / 83 joules (!).

An in depth review test of the prototype can be found here:

https://www.luchtbuks.net/index.php?/topic/120977-dreamline-huma-air-regulator-prototype-review/

(google translate will make it readable; it's in dutch)

Best regards an have fun shootin'

Same huma regulator as the Streamline and Wildcat not externally adjustable like the FX AMP regulator. Be mindful of this. Probably very good but gun must be torn down (cylinder removed) to make adjustments. ✌🏽
