Got my PAYPAL account Locked/Frozen twice LOTSA $$$ still inside and my primary Credit Card Locked and Frozen due to paying off MAXED out balances too quickly 3x a month so I can order more guns and scopes and two banks kicked me out for too much money shifting around one bank only limits me $100 a day for any transaction due to the prior high dollar daily transactions and last $15k cashiers check made to seller to buy out his collection. Now it looks like Money order folks wanna limit me too. IM SCREWED!!! Yo!

Not what you think. I got the guns no problems no issues. The seller whom I had great dealings with before requested a cashiers check since it was a rather large transaction and I ran out of checks and NOW I can't buy more than $2999.99 in a day anymore. Yo!

WOW YO that's something! Maybe you should consider some sort of therapy or 12 step program lol. I had an armada that I shot for two years without doing anything to it. Well two years ago I got a Hill kit for it and it's been on ever since then. I now own that same armada it has a 20'' MMHF barrel, RAW trigger blade, hill hammer, hill spring, war cobra valve, hill gauge block, huma reg with the xxl plenum, hill barrel band, customized the fore end grip, wrapped it in gun skin vinyl, sb tactical folding stock adapter. Then I did a 22 marauder. Then a .177. Then another 22 that I won on auction on ebay, then a fortitude, then my buddy Vince built me a 30 caliber armada carbine bottle gun. I just converted the first 22 into a bottled synrod. My newest one is a .177 that's pretty close to being a stock gun and I'm hoping to keep it that way lol. I think you guys get the picture. Its an addiction lol. And all the ones that followed the armada are just as tricked out. The nice thing about it was this winter I had time to really go through all my rifles and focus on making them great shooters and very accurate. I'm not ready to jump up to the higher end rifles and quite frankly I'm more than a little scared to see how much I would end up having into one of those before I deemed it "good enough".

Ya know YO I could be your friend since you have all of that money but seems as though you are having a hard time spending it so I am not so sure. ;^)

Some of that sounds like it really sucks it's crazy when you can't even spend what you got.

I saw all of that stuff you were selling and even bought a little. Still I was wondering if you were OK as there was so much of it. Good to hear you had a purpose and it has werqed out for you. You'll love the Impact.

I have a couple three strange builds that just keep growing as airgun tech matures and more parts become available. I went to edit the long post, update a picture, I did on the Blue gun a few months back and the post with all of it's replies completely disappeared from the forum never to be seen again.

Anyway here is my strangest build I expect some are getting tired of seeing it by now. It started out a lowly Crosman 2240







I added a DAQ steel breech, a 2250 barrel and cut a new trigger out of a piece of aluminum angle. Enlarged the port on the valve, eased the angle, increased the volume and modded the stem for better flow as well.

Some months later I decided to bulk it and found a dropforward at an online paintball store and a fake co2 cart at Mac1 which I drilled for the macroline and ported for more flow. Made a better moderator from carbon fiber for it few months after that. Then I just shot it and shot it and... for fifteen years. Half inch groups at 50 yards were the norm. But I could not get over 630fps with my Crosman 2250 barrel or accuracy suffered greatly.







Then the aftermarket repeating breeches I was interested in began showing up on the net. I bought several of the breeches, a BNM, custom Air and an Exclusive and tried them out settling on Custom Air repeating breech for the smoothness of it's side-lever action loading. While I was at it I decided to put an FX stx barrel on it. So I cut off a barrel and made an adapter for the breech. The breech was high enough for me to add a shroud so I made a few parts and put on an overly long shroud which I shortened shortly after. It's still a bit long but it makes the gun nice and quiet so it's all good. It still shoots the half inch groups but velocity goes to 730+fps

LOL. I think we can assume YO is a single man? 
I just have to ask. How many air rifles do you own YO ? ( and I’m assuming that changes day to day if not moment to moment). Do you have other hobbies? I’m thinking like cars, boats airplanes .
My friend’s think I’m a bit “off” due to my gun habits. I’d just like to hear YO’s story because I think I could use it as a plea for a claim of reasonable normalcy. 
Or maybe this is a business and makes perfect sense?

Well, gentlemen (and ladies), I've finally pulled the trigger on an impact. Leading up to this, I sold a lot of materials from old projects (some of which got pretty in-depth), so I wanted to ask:

What is the most "Down the rabbit hole" -esque build (complex/strange/etc.) you have done/seen since getting into airguns?

Have to give credit where credit is due. You did it the right way by parting everything thing out and selling, versus trying to sell $1200 modified Mrod's, good job..

Enjoy your impact, but I do hope you kept something to tinker around with, as that impact will not provide that for you, after you get it dialed in.

What? No way I'm letting this happen to another member. I have a solution. You send me the cash for your purchases and buy them with my card. You win by still being able to purchase up to $25,000 at once (my card limit) and I win by gaining all the miles! I promise not to drop off the earth after recieving your cash. (wink, wink)
