In just over an hour this afternoon with my Wildcat .22 and JSB 15.89. They just kept coming, I could have sat there all day picking them off but duty calls.
Friggen Eurasia Collard doves are starting to take over for Starlings, as over populated nuisance birds. Then thanks to every Tom, Dick and Harry community, who pass NO SHOOTING ordinances, they have NO natural predators. Its nice to see someone getting some under control!
I got smart this time and took a small folding cane/chair. It's very lightweight and when it's folded I hook the shooting stick on it and carry it by the sling. Very convenient and it beats squatting down it the dirt.
Let the lead fly hawkeye! I breast the ones I shoot, grill them for my dog, then take the meat off the bones for her. I keep a ziplock in the freezer and when I get 10 I grill. They’re all grain fed anyways. Knocked off a nesting pair of starlings yesterday was the best I did-good show!
