So last night I fell asleep playing with my rifle no no no a dirty mind will get you into trouble every time it was the new raw 30 caliber I put it back in the box and fell asleep watching TV during the middle of the night I can feel something moving to my horror I woke to find my dog chewing on the rifle box I yelled so loud the dog took off like a shot jumping off the bed he hit the door so hard I thought he knocked him out lucky for me he only chewed the corner of the rubber foam piece so any of you guys have any near misses a crazy woodpecker termites crazy in-laws so if you guys have any crazy things ha7ppen to you with your rifles let me know let us all know Pat PS my little buddy is fine
 
I had just received a new 25 marauder and took it out to my dads house to test it out. I dropped the tailgate which had my tank and bags taking up all the space, so I took the new gun in the box and laid it on the ground to open it up, and when I flipped the box open and stood up to tell my dad " well here's the new beast", we both looked down at the gun at the same time to see my dog pissing all over the gun. I probably spent two hours cleaning the gun that afternoon thinking about how rusted my gun was gonna be the next day

"USAFANG67"Dogs are like kids......if you don't or not paying attention to them they will do whatever it takes to get your attention even if it means suffering the consequences.
My two grandchildren do the same thing.......short of chewing on my guns or peeing on them because they are locked up.

PS The guns are locked up not the grandchildren :)

When I was in school, my roommate invited me to spend the weekend with his family and go quail hunting. Everything was going good till lunch. We stopped, broke out lunch and sat in the shade. One of the bird dogs thought my jacket was a good place to lay. Not a big deal but when we got up, the dog decided to pee on my jacket. Nothing like walking around smelling like dog piss. I got 5 on my first time out, so the the whole day was a win.
