Does this make sense?

I have a Hatsan at44 non qe in .177. Thru an odd set of circumstances I ended up with an extra air cylinder for it. Well today I was just sighting in a new scope and swapped cylinders rather than stop what I was doing to refill. My original cylinder shoots 30 shots in the green and 10 that I can hear are falling off and impact starts to drop. Needle just drops into the yellow (probably 90 bar). The replacement cylinder put out 40 consistent shot and 10 more that fell off. The needle was down to about 75 bar. Both cylinders show the same on the compressor guage when fully charged (200 bar). Is it common to see such a difference in shot count between cylinders (i believe both are unregulated as far as I know as they both came off stock guns)

I would say that at least one of the gauges is off on your cylinders. Pretty common for them to be off a little as they are only meant to give you a general idea of how much air you have left. If you knew how many shots you should be getting (at your power setting) than you might be able to determine which gauge reads high (or low) and you could adjust your fill pressure with that cylinder so you get the correct amount of shots with each.

Tweeter I thought the same thing but I filled both using the guage on the compressor and same results. John makes sense now. Very possible set up like this as one cylinder was original to my .177 and the other cylinder came off a .25 cal. Im just starting to tune this rifle so I guess Im gonna pull the valves out and take a closer look. Gun is shooting way to hot right now and im pretty sure i gotta back it down. Waitimg to get some funds together for a chronograph. Man this hobby sure can get expensive fast.
