I was shooting my Daystate Huntsman Regal .22 the other day and noticed it was quieter than usual. I bought it brand new from AoA about a month and half ago. I also have a Neil Clague 8" LDC on it but I have shot it before with it on and it is quieter now. Out of curiosity, I ran it through the chrony and the numbers are the same since I got it with no velocity loss. Is it possible that the hammer spring has settled in making it sound quieter? Would the velocity be lower? Strange.
