Does anyone know where I can get more lifelike looking targets?

Had to share…

The above is a trick question. That’s actually a real hen, standing next to my rooster knock down FT Target I have set up at 70 yds.

Sure, just get reallistic simulations of the critters you want. You can add a stick on bullseye or paint on a kill zone. Many hunting critters are molded for appearance and decoy purposes. I have saw crows, gophers, wood chucks, turkeys, rabits etc. Look at Cabelas and Bass Pro in decoys...many other outdoor outlets have stocks of various decoys.

Sadly Rick Stoughtenburg Michigan passed away. A truely great friend, competitor, and target maker. His wounderful targets were so lifelike that he included mylar/plastic templates for spraying colors back on when needed. This quickly renewed the details that made his targets so nice. I have several and my Energiser bunny target and Pheasant are truely a work of art. These targets performed perfect at several Western Wayne MAJOR event. World,,Nationals, and regionals. Only one stake to anchor and the target does not have to be leveled. Rick even made a upside down Bat target that worked fine. I sure miss him and Jim Evert. Both great guys from Michigan.

Perhaps you can do a want to buy request for some of his targets. When I was match director in Illinois I used a single stainless steel bolt and wing nut to anchor the target. In 6 years of use not a single target malfunction.
