Does anyone have any 1st hand experience with the 2.4 CFM Kidde compressor?

Put together by Sheldon Sportings Goods. I guess they are a refurbished military compressor used for the flamethrowers. I have a 88 CF tanks but seem to exhaust it over the weekend. My fill center is only open on the weekend and so I get a late start on Saturday and I am unable to shoot during the week if my tank is low. Trying to decide whether to buy an additional tank or get a compressor. Concerned about dry air with the Omega.

I have only had mine for a short time, but it fills fast and has a great filter so no moisture worries. The filter needs checked every 30 hours and might need dessicant changed at that time. Oil change every 40hours or reccomended once a year at minimum. As far as rebuild, 2000-3000hrs is what I have been told. I can top off my tiger shark and guppy in 15 minutes from start to finish for both tanks. I highly reccomend this unit and love mine.

Let me tell you, if i had it to do all over again, i would buy a compressor 1st. Another CF tank (2) just makes for 2 empty tanks that you can't get filled until next weekend. And, when shops fill CF tanks in a hurry, once they cool off, you have about 41-4200 psi in the tank instead of 4500 psi and that MEANS something when you are in the field. Nothing like being able to fill your own tanks. I have a shoebox and its slow but, its better than relying on scuba shops. My machinist and friend have 2 Sheldons, a 2.4 and a 4.0 and they both are amazing.
