Coldair & Bigvitamin,

The oversized elevation turret was made by Eric Sanders of

http://scope-werks.com/index.php

Eric made me a custom over sized elevation turret for my application I requested. He's a great gentleman to deal w/. Very knowledgeable gent.

The elevation turret label was made by me w/ Eric's custom label making scopeknob software he designed:

Heres a link where I went into more detail about Eric's scopeknob & software: (starts about 1/2 way down the post)

Many Thanks Sirs...

I too have one of Eric's turrets. Absolutely love it I already have my tape printed out and I really like it. I use Chairgun Pro for mine, always have, even before I had this turret, plus the yardage are all verified. I really like that it's uncluttered, just the shoot to distance in yards and 1/10th mil clicks around the bottom.

I do have a question for you though... what do you print your turret tape on? I use photo paper and cover it with packing tape but your tape just looks better. Any tips? Thanks, Stoti

Stoti,

I'm very glad to see some1 else's Scopewerks elevation turret & label here on AGN. Your turret & label looks very nice Sir. Very cool setup. Glad she's working out for you too. That's excellent that you can use Chairgun to help dial your elevation turret.

Can I ask what scope your running w/ Eric's knob?

To answer your question about what paper I print out my elevation tape on. It's just regular white printer paper. I print out 4 finalized elevation labels (just 2 shown below) on 1 white piece of printer paper. (Just incase I mess up on the 1st try)

Then I would place either a 2" clear tape or a 2" yellowish tape over 1 of the labels covering the entire label w/ 1 piece of 12" strip of tape (try to do your best not to have any wrinkles in the tape when laying down the tape on the label).

This tape overlay will protect your elevation turret label from the elements (rain, oily fingers, dirt, grime). I would then cut out the label with my exacto knife making sure all the edges are all clean cut. After that I would wrap the elevation label over the oversized elevation turret making sure she is super tight. Trim the elevation label if needed to fit perfectly around the oversized turret knob. Stretch the crap out of the turret label to fit tightly around the knob and tape her down w/ an extra piece of tape of the same kind. The final label should look perfect from factory. The white pointer is just a cut up credit card...hahah...

Here's my oversized parallax knob made by Eric for my Sightron scope for my RAW.

Here, I used the yellow tape shown above to test out. The more yellow tape I used was a lil bit more bling (too shiny for me) which I did not like. I haven't had time to switch tapes yet to a more dull clear tape.

Your setup looks bad ass & thanks for the pic of your setup...

Hope this helps ya...

Thanks for the imput. My scope is the Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 6-24x50. Eric didn't make a turret for it but asked me to take some measurements and he whipped it right out. I love the scope and the turret. I make my tape the exact same way but somehow in my eye, they look different. Ooh, I love that 1000X! I even like the color! When I called RAW a while back they told me ten weeks for that gun, and it has to be the 1000x because I'm a leftie. Either that or the Matador will be my next gun. Thanks. Stoti

Here's a better pic of the scope
