Do you “name” your guns?

CC, this is inarguably your best forum work to date. Keep up the good work!

Worried Man, you worry TOO MUCH! Look on the bright side; if FX can't fix your gun it'll make great wall-art or a fine trot-line weight.

Leave it to ZX10 to do our due diligence for us (again); no matter the subject (matter). Daniel Boone's rifle's name? No problem. That all y'all got? BTW, FYI, FWIW, a little known fact, and not for public conumption, Daniel Boone called his thang 'Big Griz'.

Apparently I touched more than one nerve, EZ. Good thing we can laugh about it; otherwise those wouldn't be tears of hilarity, huh?

Thanks for the reality check, LA. Because we all know how grounded in reality LA is.

"have never looked at them as anything different than tools" So what do you do for fun, 2016? Or don't you do fun?

"Tools are for doing work. Airguns are too much fun to be a tool." Reminds me of that verse, "This is my rifle, this is my gun...". Great paraphrase, Cole.

"nope". Care to expand on that, farm?

ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?

I’m having fun @airngasman 😆

Whether I’m using my airgun to ethically take game, practice or in competition, I always enjoy it. Naming them just adds to the joy.

That said, Tex and I look forward to causing quite the ruckus on the TEXtreme FT circuit. We have to dirt roll some suckers before they get the jump on us. Yep, we aim to put the quahitis on ‘em!! Just hide and watch 😉

My initial thought was no, I wouldn’t name a gun, but then I remembered I did name one…

I’ve only ever named two guns I’ve owned and I think it’s partially because I built them. I’ve built others though and nothing about the process caused me to name them. My money pit P15 is my Chi-pan and my Prod mini rifle is the Weerod. All my other guns the manufacturer gave them a good enough name for me. It also keeps me from becoming attached. To put the Weerod in a box to be shipped off to a unknown home might be heartbreaking.
