Does anyone wear safety glasses when shooting your air rifles?

I guess I should, but I don't.
I almost aways shoot at either 33 or 38 yards in my back yard. I consider the chance of a pellet or particle splashing back that distance small enough to not bother with safety glasses. 

When I chrony my rifles with the chrony and pellet trap mere feet away I always wear safety glasses. 

I wear prescription glasses anyway, but I do make my kids were them.

You truly should, but you know how many people dont? I don't either only at shootouts.

although I may not wear "SAFETY" glasses, I do wear at least sun glasses, walking through undergrowth they do protect your eyes from stray twigs

Yes I do! I have been to the eye doctor few times to pull stuff out.

Not all of the time. Now that I have been doing a lot of shooting with a camera attached to my scope, I find it hard to see the screen wearing the glasses. I realize this is a poor excuse but just being honest.

If you wear glasses buy the polycarbonate option. Won't protect from the side but will stop some pellets and other things.
If you only have one good eye its a good idea to protect it. bifocals with the correct focus distance for the screen
can probably be made.

I wear prescription glasses, sometimes I do wear my safety prescription, when I don't forget them with my work stuff.

I purposely leave a pair in my truck, my range bag and in my soft case so I don't forget.... sometimes I still forget:/

I got smacked in the forehead during some target testing a few weeks back, albeit I was firing a .22LR (at 10 yards), it was a hard enough hit that it made its point. I have been more careful to ensure I have something on my eyes, even purchased a pair of 3M auto shading glasses to try to help keep stuff on my face.

No, even though I've had ricochets come back and smack me in the chest. Oh well...

You know I really should since I have had a177 ricochet and break my window rain vent on my hunt truck.

I also practice for FT competitions and have a bunny at 10 yds with a 1/4" KZ... I put it through the hole most of the time but one of these days I may regret it when I miss!

Are we talking of ricochet? I struggle to see (haha) how a lead pellet can bounce back at you. Maybe a harder metal can - steel BB.

I use a steel plate, faced by an EVA mat to stop the tiny lead fragments from cutting the paper target. What I see of the pellet caught behind the mat is perfectly demonstrated by 30cal's avatar.

And before I'm criticised for not wearing glasses, I have a scope in front of my right eye, a lens cap in front of my left eye and I sit on my brown eye!
