That would be another question: is there a standard choke per caliber? My guess is no. So then it would depend on the real caliber of the slug to the choke.

Do slugs damage pellet liners/barrels

Well I shot some fx slugs through my crown with slug liner and after tried my normal H&N slugs , but could not get a group straight away , probably took 200 H&N slugs to get accuracy back .
Won’t be using fx slugs again fora few reasons , over priced and awful groups

It's is very unlikely they could cause any issues or get stuck. They just work terrible when they squeeze through a tight pellet choke.

I have a 397 and bought a can oh rabbit magnum slugs...they fit very very tight in the barrel....I hate to damage it,but they shoot really hard.
Could these slugs hurt the barrel? The riflings are pretty light.
Any insight would be great.
