I have few peach trees in my yard, this year one tree has a lot of fruits, sure enough I expected some visitors

Installed motion sensor activated sprinkler, deer don't like cold water, last year it worked pretty well.

Last night was in bed, when water pump started working, once, twice, three times...

It was obvious, I had some obnoxious visitors...

Grabbed Evanix Rainstorm 3D, flash light and went to check.

Raccoon was absolutely ignorant abot sprinkler and flash light, picking peaches on top of the tree

One shot - H&N Crow Magnum 26.23 gr did the job

It really works, especially against deer, last year didn't have problems, even with raccoons 

This year some raccoon family became really aggressive, visiting my property couple times a night

It surprised me yesterday, raccoon was completely ignoring sprinkler, climbing tree like it's nothing happening.

Fortunately for me this sprinkler works as an alarm system too, I have own well and if I'm not sleeping deeply, I can hear pump start working in the basement.

If it just once, I'm not even getting up, but 2-3 times, it's time to go...

Every single night gang of raccoons is on the mission, 

They look almost like an addicts - sprinkler, lights, shots - nothing scares those bastards, they only smell peaches

They climb peach tree, brake branches, shake all tree and have no intention to retreat.

Shot the third one, an hour later sprinkler started again,

Walked out of the house - two pairs of eyes shine in deep grass, didn't have a clear shot.

3 raccoons down, at least 2 still on the run
