Do LDC's need cleaning?

I recommend just blowing mine through with compressed air, they do not foul up as much as a fire arms silencer but they might accumulate a bit of lead dust, hence the name LDC. I have had customers report that the LDC I made for them 5 years ago is working as well now as when they purchased it. I would suggest most of them would benefit by blowing them out once in a while with compressed air, 50psi should be enough just to clear them out a bit, Neil.

Wow that's about 10 years or more of shooting for me, lol If the LDC is still working well I would not worry about it, but as I said, you could just blow it through with some low pressure air, you could use high pressure, but I get concerned about high pressure air and how careful the user is, it can be very dangerous if not used correctly. But it certainly should not harm the LDC at all, Neil.
