Do any other springers come with a...

CZ makes very good barrels, but like all barrels even by the same manufacturer they each have unique characteristics and there can be a bit of a barrel lottery. Overall CZ has a good reputation for quality barrels.

Yep....no matter who the mfg is, it is still the luck of the draw! Many years back owned a CZ in .177 rimfire, sold it, best group was 3" at 100 yds

I'd bet that most of the accuracy comes from a docile and properly timed powerplant. A nice shot cycle will make or break a spring gun.

But a good barrel certainly helps! 😁

I machined a CZ blank for my HW100 and it was excellent. I think part of the reason the CZs are so good is they tend to use a less aggressive choke than others. That and the bore diameter is more consistent along it's length since they are forged over a mandrel. The few CZ barrels that I've had in my hands all shared those traits and were all very accurate and forgiving on pellet selection.

If Weihrauch would use them on their .22s, I'd buy one tomorrow!
