Do any makers use a left sided cocking lever?

Seems to me that for right handed shooter like myself, having the cocking lever on the left hand side of the gun would make cocking the gun a lot easier and would not mean taking your hand away from the trigger. I have looked at some of the new FX airguns and see not one of them appears to have the cocking lever on the left, if there are any with the lever on the left maybe you could mention which ones as I would like to try one and see if it makes shooting easier for a right handed shooter, Neil.

By the way, Neil, the first time I held the Vulcan (IWA 2014) I thought the same as you - right handed shooters would do well with left handed bolts/levers. But, after cocking and shooting the Vulcan a few dozen times, I decided it was not for me. I prefer to keep a hand on the forestock. Holding just the pistol grip while trying to cock the gun proved very wobbly. So, I asked the Vulcan folks to switch the bolt to the right side, and I found it much more agreeable (steady and secure).
.
That's just me. Mileage varies, to be sure.

Thanks Ted that is why I was also asking for opinions from people who own them, my thought was that if the gun was being used on a gun rest or bags it would be a lot easier to cock the guns without having to take the right hand away from the trigger. I like to get my trigger finger in a set position so I have the same type of squeeze for each shot and thought this might help. Thanks for the input, Neil.

To me there is no doubt it is easier. The gun is so quick and easy to cock that follow up shots are easy. Often times a shooter is using a rest or shooting bag so there is little need for the front hand. This leave the shooters front hand free to cock the gun and still maintain a consistent hand placement and pressure. As far as who sells Vulcan. Steve at WWAG, Peter from TGAG sells them as well as Tony from Talon Tunes.

Thanks guys and thanks Keysersoze you have pretty much confirmed what my thoughts were for someone using a rest or bags. I will have to pick one up and try it since every airgun I have has right sided cocking, it gets tiresome with the modern multi shot guns. It is not so bad with the single shots since you have to pretty much set up your hold every time you load the gun, but with the multishots I can see the advantage of having the cocking lever on the left side. Good to see you here Harry, how are things down under? All the best, Neil.
