Distinctions between “Gen 1”, “Gen 2”, and MKII Impacts

I might be wrong

Gen1 : knob for barrel change, st barrel, no liner, no milled VH

Gen 2: can change liners, SN 183534 and below

Gen 3: as mentioned SN 183535 and up

Mk2: it has mk2 written, different gauges, mag and valvetube

Excellent, thanks! So does that make all "Impact Xs", Gen 3v2?

i got my specific Impact X about a month ago so im assuming Gen3v2.

I'm trying to map my gun to the various "Gen" references used here so i can figure out if/how any given lesson-learned (or whatever) is relevant to my gun. Thanks again!

disregard the "v2" stuiff sbove. I misread. I thought there was a midstream change with Gen3
