Distance estimation on 7x

Only if its a first focal plane scope. Otherwise range estimation has to be done in 10x true mildot or even better 20x half mildot.

I take these issues with a grain of salt. Although both of my Leapers scope appear correct at 10X, my Stogers isn't at any round power setting. So, I cheated!

I got out my yard stick, placed it at various ranges, varied the power, and wrote down the data. I added that info to the range card taped to my stock. Sure beat guesstimation!

What brand scope, model, exact name of reticle, and what power is the scope calibrated to?
